Peggy is a little senior, approximately 10 yrs young and weighs about 8 lbs. She came from a high kill shelter and was going to be euthanize due to her age and space, we got her in the nick of time. We think she was used for breeding and almost acts like a puppy mill dog. When we first got her she was very shy and scared, but has blossomed into a normal confident dog. She has an independent spirit and keeps to herself, but when you pick her up and sit her in your lap, she enjoys the attention. She's very easy going and very quiet, we still haven't heard her bark! She is great around other dogs as well. She has no teeth, her previous owners didn't take care of them so she has to eat soft food. A perfect home for her would be a retiree or senior citizen that wants companionship. She has almost perfected house training as long as she is taken out often. She is also crate trained.
