About Mama Betsy

MAMA BETSY is a darling girl that is a mix of two great breeds of dogs, 1/2 Lab and 1/2 Bassett Hound. This young 2-3 year old, 50 pound girl was turned in by a former owner who turned her in and stated that they have had her since a puppy. She came in with her four puppies that were 4 month old puppies who were still dragging her down. The owner said she had 7 and got 'rid' of the others but they couldnt find homes for these 4. Critter Cavalry Rescue has helped with the pups not adopted from the shelter and now we want to help this girl Mama Betsy. She is a real sweet girl who never engages in any rough house or fights and when a ruckus starts she will get out of the way and go lay down and watch, but not participate. She walks good on a leash and all she wants to do is please you. She has been at the small town Tennessee shelter since July 11th. We desperately want to get her out and into a foster home if we can�'�|.or better yet an adoptive family to adopt her.
