Shadow arrived having had her right eye removed after an accident when being rounded up off the Yakima Indian reservation. Other than having the vet treatment, she was given affection but no training during her time at the prior rescue. They were just letting her adapt to people and focusing on much more critical cases in their care. She arrived here essentially feral, never haltered, never led, only trailered after the roundup then her long drive here. Shadow has adapted to life here wonderuflly. She is easy to handle on the ground, works at liberty easily even for beginning volunteers, she has started ground driving and is doing well. Since she is only 2 years old we are not prepared to start riding training. Shadow is now easy to handle on the ground and would be available to adopt to a home willing to let her grow up. An adoption fee would need to be set by our board at the time of a request to adopt her.
