DEZ - A4093451 Hi, my name is DEZ. I am a neutered male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 51 lbs. My owner could no longer take care of me, and the shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Jun 09, 2018. I'm a real gentlemanly, shy boy who needs some love and cuddling. I will 'sit' for a treat, and take it very gently. I get along with everybody pretty good, except when other doggies try to get my food - pretty protective about that. Otherwise, we get along fine. I like people and bigger kids, and like being petted. My favorite toys are balls, and I am not destructive in any way. I will bark at strangers, but I think I just need a little socializing training. I walk on a leash pretty good so I'd make a good walking or hiking buddy. I've been here too long already, and am ready for a calm and loving home.
