About Cypress

Do you like car rides? How about pizza? Are you a sun worshiper? Any chance you snore just a little? Guess what? Cypress does TOO! Cypress aka 'Cy' is the absolutely BEST boy. He had a rough start in life but my-o-my does he love the good life he has found!!! This 12-pound, five-year-old, chihuahua mix (Beagle maybe?) will come to you totally housetrained. He is UTD on all vaccinations, is HW negative and has been neutered. He loves cats and other small dogs�'�|and LIVES to hang with his human just chillin' or hanging outside in the sunshine. He would prefer to go to a home with no large dogs and no small children. He is excellent on a leash and is a total non-barker. He also rides very well in the car. This pup is so well-mannered he stands completely still for a bath...no collar or leash required. He loves to roll around on the carpet and belly-crawl across the bed. He even acts like a puppy to get another dogs attention! He is not a super licky dog but will absolutely give gentle kisses when he is being snuggly. He loves to sit next to you on the couch and rest his head on your shoulder. He is an excellent bed companion...very respectful to not hog space as long as he can be close. He will eat pretty much anything and sure does love his treats! He has not been tested with children, but we think he would do fine in a quiet household with older kids. Too much noise or commotion would very likely disrupt this very mellow dude's mojo. Cy will make an excellent companion for a person or couple that just loves to hang out with their best fur-friend. He will not thrive in a home being left alone all the time. He is all about loyalty, snuggling and pleasing you! Poor Cy is overlooked time and time again�'�|likely due in part to his 'old man' appearance. He does have a little gray hair (don't we all?) and has a limp in his left hind leg due to a very old injury but it does not stop him one bit.... and there is nothing old about his personality. Give him a little bit of time and your love and you will absolutely see what his foster people see in this boy!
