About Gunther

Hi! I'm Gunther, (people here call me Gunny.) I'm approximately three years old, and I'm small right now but hope to get above the 50lbs I'm currently at. I'm a German Shepherd Mix. I was so hungry and itchy when I came into rescue. Over time, I've began to grow in a beautiful amount of hair, have put on some weight, and yet, despite what I've been through, decided to remain joyful! I have pure joyous energy. I prance like a pony and live every day with appreciation and joy. I smile big! I love kids, other dogs, and all people! I'm learning how to play and like to wrestle, so maybe not cats right away. I wouldn't hurt anything on purpose but am still learning what my new body does at this size. I get laughs when I trip over my own legs. I'm crate trained and do well in the house, for a dog whose never had to figure out where I can and can't go. I'm smart. So smart. I want to please you and am motivated by positive reinforcement. Training me will be easy peasy! The kids laugh at me cause my legs are like a pony and I'm not really sure how to play with these things called...toys, yet. But they are teaching me how to stay down when I play with my favorite short sqealing persons who sometimes don't wear pants. Also, why throw that round thing when you clearly just wanted it? It's because of this logic that I learned the head tilt. Anyway, I'm nutered and up to date on my shots, and ready for my furever home. I'm only going to get stronger, smarter, and filled out.
