About Gaia

Hello there. My name is Gaia (Guy-Ah), and I'm just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet. My favorite thing to do is to be close to my people and snuggle. I am also quite a runner, I enjoy playing tag and running through the sprinkler. I'm around two years old, this is our best guess as I was homeless before HFAH rescued me off the mean streets in Texas. I weigh in at 55lbs at the moment but am slowly gaining and should top out at a healthy 65 lbs. I am a beautiful merle smoothcoat Catahoula mix, with one stunning icey blue eye and one warm amber eye. I get along extremely well with every animal I have ever met including cats, dogs, pigs, and chickens. I have no signs of food aggression or aggression of any kind. I am actually very submissive. I walk great on a leash and will let you lead the way. I am very well behaved; I come when I'm called, I am completely potty trained, I take treats gently from hands, and am working on some tricks to impress you. I recently had puppies, we know because I still have the mommy pooch, but I am now spayed and will never have to worry about doing that again. I love children and follow my foster kids around the house with my tail wagging. I am up yo date on all vaccines, flea and tick preventative, and heart worm preventative. will you consider giving me a forever home? Being fostered in Sparta WI.
