About Geoffry

Hello! My name is Geoffrey and I am a 12 week old, male Heeler mix. I just traveled here from Texas with a bunch of my siblings. I am currently staying with a foster family that has a bunch of other dogs, all different ages and sizes and I love playing with them all! I have a lot of puppy energy and I could just play outside all day if you let me! Sometimes though I don't realize I am getting too rough with the other pups and my foster mom has to remind me to back off a little. I just get so excited I can't help myself! I love to chase balls that my foster mom throws and I mean to bring them back but I get distracted by sticks and leaves and such on the way back. It's all just so interesting! Sometimes I like to just hang out with my foster mom, sitting in her lap, giving her love and kisses. If other puppies want to do this at the same time, I get a little jealous, but we can unusually work it out. When my mom wants me to go in the crate, I don't really want to go in at first but once I am in there, it's all good. I sleep in the crate at night and stay in there when no humans are home. I also eat in my crate because I get too nervous to eat with the other dogs. I would just rather eat from my own bowl, alone. My mom is so proud of me because I haven't had any accidents in the house since arriving to Wisconsin. I do however accidently chew on things I'm not supposed to so we are working on that. My mom says I'll do best at a house that can allow me to run off all my energy and with a family that can continue to help me learn proper puppy manners. Maybe that might be you! I am being fostered in La Crosse, WI and my adoption fee is $300 (with a separate $100 deposit check that is shredded with proof of completion of spray/neuter) that includes age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
