About Grant

Hi, my name is Grant and I'm a 12-week-old, 27 lb, male Heeler mix with the most beautiful coloring you've ever seen. I came from Texas with my little mates, but am now in a foster home with new friends. I reside with my foster mom and dad as well as their 2 dogs and I sure do love everyone. I'm learning to explore and become more independent but won't turn down any playtime and cuddles from humans or dogs. My mom is so impressed that I'm 99% potty trained and hold it through the night. I will go in my crate nicely, but prefer to sleep with my family at night, which I'm allowed to do since I don't ever jump off the bed or potty at night. During the day I'm crated for a half day and do just fine. I'm a typical teething puppy, but I listen well if my foster mom says 'No, that's not a toy.' I then go get one of my approved toys. I'm also doing really well with walking on a leash and sure do love the fenced in yard where I can run all over. I'm working on sit and am doing great with it as I'm super smart and eager to please. I'm still a puppy and have all this energy and excitement, so I do jump, but we are working on that as well. I sure would love a family of my very own and definitely wouldn't turn down any doggie siblings so hopefully you think I'm a great fit for you. I'm currently being fostered in Menomonie, WI. His adoption fee is $300.00 (with a $100.00 deposit check that will be shredded upon completion of spay/neuter).
