About Blue

Meet Blue! Blue is named for his one blue eye. He is a one year old Akita Mix. Blue has lots of energy and needs an experienced, yet kind owner. He is affectionate and playful with a dominant but strong personality. Blue would do well with an owner who is willing to invest the time to train him. Because he is large and wants to be 'in charge' Blue needs consistency, patience and lots of love as he matures. Blue is not good with most male dogs so he would need to be introduced to the possibility of another dog in the home. He could possibly accept a female but would also need to be introduced or even do a trial period. Blue is a sweet guy with a lot to offer a family.
