About Maya

My name is Maya, I'm 5 years old, I am a lab mix (maybe with husky) and I'm needing a new family. I'm not safe in what was to be my forever home, our neighbors have big pitbulls, and they bully me and try to hurt me. My mommy called the police because I was hurt really badly by them and the police man made her cry, and didn't get me justice. The neighbors have now started threatening to kill me or poison me and I don't want to be afraid to even go potty in my own yard. I need a family, or someone to love me and give me the time to get comfortable. I spent 3 years on a chain and I don't know how to be a dog, but I love to run around and lick fingers! I'm a calm girl unless I want to go potty, then I'm feisty! Id never hurt a fly, but I'm a big girl and step on toes. I am completely potty trained, and have had all my shots, I just need to be fixed. My mommy can't stand to take me to the pound, but otherwise I have to be put down because I may be hurt really badly, so I need to find a safe home to live out the rest of my life.
