About Wrigley

Wrigley is a sweet, sweet girl! She loves her humans. She is very playful, but also enjoys a good cuddling session. She had a rough start to life, and was abandoned in a home with no food or water. After many vet visits and blood tests, we have been able to rule out any life threatening ailments. The only thing this sweet girl has to battle is diabetes. She was so malnourished that her blood sugar is out of wack and she is severely underweight. She is currently on 12 units of insulin two times a day. We are hoping that with the insulin, we can get her regulated and back to a healthy weight. Don't let her skinniness fool you though, she has tons of strength and a great attitude! Wrigley would really thrive in a home where she was an only fur child. She does get along with other dogs, but would do better in a one dog home due to her health condition. She lives for the love of her people!
