About Dex

Dex is a wonderful dog. He loves to bounce and play with the younger dogs in his foster home, but he is equally good at being a calm respectful young man with the senior aged dogs. He has a wonderful personality and is friendly with everyone he meets. Dex doesn't just get along with people and dogs. He is also good with the cats at his foster home. He is also used to seeing cows. Dex is starting to work on leash training and basic obedience. His second day taking a leashed walk was a real breakthrough for him. The first day he was very upset about being led away from his foster home. His foster mom thinks he was scared of being abandoned and lost. The next day though he just went with the flow and trusted that nothing bad was going to happen. Dex can be a sensitive soul, so he definitely needs an adopter that will be patient and try to see the world from his perspective. His foster parents say he will never be the big brave dog. He's the type of pup that really depends on his human to introduce him to new things and ideas. He really depends on the person he is with and wants to be with them.
