About Mattie

Mattie is 2 years old and has had a rough life to say the least. She was originally abandoned after she had puppies (the puppies were likely sold). She came into the shelter skin and bones with marks on her neck from the chain that began to embed itself in her skin. Despite it all, she is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She absolutely loves ALL dogs (big or small), and has yet to find a human she doesn't want to lick to death. Mattie can get a little excited (she never really got to be a puppy), and may jump sometimes. She's a very fast learner and usually just needs a little reminder to sit down if she wants attention. Mattie has been around children and done well. She has never been introduced to a cat, but I wouldn't be surprised if she decided she loved those too. Mattie would make an excellent addition to any home that has the time to make sure she gets her exercise in (at least 3 walks a day) and time to snuggle her. She deserves to live a very spoiled life (she will gladly repay you in kisses). Mattie is spayed, updated on shots and is house trained and leash trained.
