About Cockatiel

Sparky is a 20 year old male cockatiel. His friend is Sassy, a 19 year old female cockatiel. They are older and have some minor health issues, but are really hoping to find a home. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $20 per bird
