About Honey

Adoption Fee: $200
Poodle mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Honey! Little Honey was found as a stray and appears to be an Apricot Poodle mix, weighs approx. 9 pounds, and is approx. 3 years old. She has been updated on all age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed,and will be spayed before adoption. She is currently in a foster home and doing well with other dogs and a cat, but she seems to want to be the alpha at times. Although she is sweet most times, we have noticed times when she is on the foster families bed and one of the foster members are with her and someone else walks in, she is very protective and sometimes a little aggressive. For this reason we are hoping for an experienced pet owner with no kids to adopt this needy baby. We're not sure if there was some past abuse or some type of traumatic experience to cause her personality swings. She does have what looks like the beginning of a cataract in her left eye. She generally has a sweet disposition and will be ready for a loving fur-ever home on 7/31. Honey would make anyone a great loyal and faithful companion. Her adoption fee is $200. Her ID is DF1807010. An application is available by clicking on the following link http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/images/Adoption_Application_2015.doc You can email it back to us at [email protected], or fax it to 910-738-8685. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, de-wormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. For more info on how to adopt, please email us at [email protected] or call the shelter at 910-738-8282.
