About Rusty-Lhasa Apso

Rusty is a handsome Lhasa Apso that may have a little bit of Poodle mixed in - or he could be a purebred Lhasa! Rusty is about two years old and weighs 23 pounds. He was picked up as a stray and found himself in the local animal shelter! He was glad to get out. He has the Lhasa Apso personality, he would do best in a home that has had experience with Lhasas and no other dogs. We do recommend that children be at least 10 years old. Rusty has been neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
