My life started out rough but things are starting to look up. For whatever reason, I was found as a stray and brought to the local animal control in Swampscott. It was definitely not where I wanted to be as I really want my own family where I can have a warm comfy bed to sleep in and people who love me. But what do you know...one day...low and behold...someone must have been looking down on me because I had a stroke of luck. I found a great foster family to stay with until I find my new forever home. When I first arrived at my first foster home I was very scared. As time passed I started to relax a little more and realize I'm safe. Hope you like all of that attention because I have plenty to give. My first foster could no longer keep me so I have moved on to my second foster and man are we living it up. We go for short walks 3x/day, about 15-25 min each. I love it and I always wants to go to either the bay side or ocean. I run in and out of the waves a bit, just ankle deep. I surprised myself, I didn't know I would be so comfortable with water in general! I really don't pull when I'm walking , although I get super energetic whenever I see another dog. I guess I just want to meet them. My foster family says I have been doing great overall. I have some funny quirks, but what do you expect...we all do.. A couple nights ago my foster mom was in the shower and I jumped right in with her and nudged her over so I could sit under the water... haha. I see that they shower before bed and I jump in the tub while their brushing their teeth. Now they have to pretend like their going to bed, otherwise I won't get out of the bath tub... LOL!! I like going for car rides now and happily jump up into the car. My foster family takes me with them and we go get coffee, pick up dinner, or running errands. I always tell them I want an ice coffee, extra cream, but I never seem to get it. I was also introduced to my first tortoise, Mr. Henry Winnebago. I was not interested at all... which is good! I've gone to the pet store a couple times to pick out treats and I enjoy checking stuff out. The staff gives me cookies and I been great with them. In general I'm still timid/nervous around anything new... obviously to be expected. Please give me a chance, I will not let you down!
