About Abby

She is a very loving, smart girl. We are moving to take care of a family member and unable to take her. Our preference would be to find a foster home for about 3 months- Abby is a very special dog and we just want her taken care of. She was a rescue and still is sometimes anxious, she was in such bad shape when we adopted her, hours of love and patience have worked wonders With her. With us, she has only been with 2 smaller, female dogs and has always been Alpha, but not mean - she corrects them mostly. She has not been around cats at all but has caught bunnies and birds, so I'm not sure if that is a predictor of her behavior. She has also never been around anyone younger than 12, but she has never shown any aggression. We have never kept her crated, we have never had the need to. She is a fantastic watch dog, we dont even lock our doors most of the time-she always keeps an eye open to keep her people safe. Please let me know if you have interest in her.
