About Monty

Monty is three years old. Two months ago, my husband passed away. He and Monty were as close as could be. He rescued Monty from a neighbor on our block who was abusing him. That was two years ago. Monty is a good dog. He has never even come close to biting anyone. He loves people and loves to play. When he meets you for the first time, he will get very excited and probably jump all over you. But don't take it as being aggressive. Monty needs a loving family who will have patience with him. He needs to have a place to run and play. He also requires alot of attention, at least right now. The reason I need to find him a home is that due to my disability, it is very difficult for me to care for him in the manner he deserves. It will break my heart as I had promised my husband I would not rehome her, but as the days went by, I realized I could not care for her. I do not want to put him in a shelter. That is not even an option. I would like to be involved in chosing the family, and if they let me, I would like to be able to visit him. Please help me find him the home he deserves. Thank you.
