About Chloe

Adoption Fee: $150
Pit Bull / Catahoula
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Chloe was one of 7 Catahoula puppies rescued from MDAS in 2009. She was the smallest, and the only one who wasn't merle (the rest of the litter were red or grey merles). She was a sickly puppy, and required a lot of extra veterinary care. Thanks to her foster mom, she pulled through, and became a happy healthy puppy. When she was four months old, she was adopted by what seemed like a very nice man. She lived for almost 9 years, as a loved part of his family. Then he got married, and had a baby, and all the changes made Chloe nervous. He returned Chloe, saying he didn't have time to work with a trainer (No Paw offered to pay) to help her adjust to all the new bustle in the house. She has been heart broken ever since. At first she spent the weekends with her old foster mom, but she already has another foster who is taking up her foster spot. So Chloe spent weeks in boarding. Then one of our amazing No Paw adopters heard about her, and welcomed her to her home for a couple months while their schedule allowed!!! Now Chloe is back at boarding as their schedule has changed %BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDz She has done great learning leash manners (she used to pull, but now walks gently on a harness). She loves to play with other easy going dogs, but can be nervous when first meeting new dogs on a leash. We are desperate to find a loving home or even a foster home for her. She's so sad in boarding. Please SHARE Chloe. This sweet 9yr old pup doesn't deserve so much heartbreak.
