About Rosie

Rosie is a sweet girl. She is easy to bath. Easy to walk on a leash. Happy in her kennel. She likes kids and people. She is ok with indoor cats but will chase outdoor animals. She gets along great with most dogs but can be aggressive toward animals when food is involved (she guards her food). She and our older boxer fight and this is why we are looking for a new home for Rosie. My personal opinion is that she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. (Just fyi she only fights with our boxer. She gets along great with our other dog - both males). She can be stubborn so someone that knows how to be the pack leader is needed. She would do great with someone that likes to take walks or even run. She prefers to be indoors and loves to chew bones. We have our dogs outside in a fenced in yard during the day and she is not happy with this arrangement. Unfortunately, it just seems that she is not a good fit for our family and I think she would have a happier life in another home. DNA test says she is 50% American Bulldog. 25% Coonhound. 25% Mixed breeds. She weighs almost 60 lbs.
