About Cagney

We've got a lady in search of a partner over here, also known as a Cagney in search of her Lacey! Cagney is a stocky, chubby, adorable pittie mix who, despite her grey muzzle and wise eyes, is only 4 years old. Cagney hasn't had the best of luck - she arrived at a local animal control as a stray, and it was clear she had been used for breeding. She waited several weeks for ACL to transfer her into our care, and despite all this waiting and uncertainty, gentle Cagney's tail never stopped wagging! Cagney loves people, and she has such a calm, sweet demeanor that people can't help but love her back! She loves to be pet and sweet talked, and she'll trundle over for pets any time of the day! Cagney doesn't enjoy interacting with other dogs, and with her history, we can't blame her! She ignores them in the kennels and outside, so she's easy to walk - but she wants to be the only canine princess in her castle! Cagney has expressed some interest in being friends with kittens, so she might like a feline companion after an appropriate into. She's housebroken, quiet, easy on her leash, and overall a low-key, loving lady who will be a wonderful family pet!
