About Ali

Ali is a 51 pound super fun 3 year old pup. She loves people, including children, and is quite skilled at making you laugh with her silly antics. Ali loves being fed her meals through her puzzle ball and delights in playing with various toys. She even plays fetch with herself at times, so don't be alarmed by random stuffed toys flying across the room. She is also house-trained and has recently taken to standing by the back door when she wants out. Additionally, Miss Ali is crate-trained - often choosing to nap in her open crate. As long as she gets at least one 30 minute walk a day, she's mellow indoors, spending most hours lying in the sun (and sometimes snoring). She knows her basic commands (Sit, Stay, Lie Down, Come) and is fairly obedient when indoors. We're currently teaching her 'Off' and 'Leave It'. Outdoors she is easily distracted and thus is less responsive to commands; however, with the help of treats, she is working on improving this behavior. Ali does fine when dogs bark at her through windows, but if she sees another dog, bunny, cat, etc. outside, she becomes hyper-focused on reaching that animal.
