About Bo

Bo is a beautiful 2 yr old brindle terrier mix. He is a medium size dog at about 45 pounds. He is active but likes to be a lap dog as well and cuddle on the chair and watch animal planet. He is very smart, eager to learn and please you, he has a great memory and likes to find things you hide for him. He will return to the hiding spot days later to see if it is still there. He likes to get his shoes on and jump on the trampoline. He responds well to positive reinforcement and a soft gentle touch and tone. My oldest son adopted him from the pound when he was about 6 months old, he is neutered and microchipped. We do believe he was abused prior to being adopted, he had some scars on his hips and neck. We use a harness type collar as he struggles with things around his neck. He is fearful of loud noises and raised voices and likes to be in his safe space, the laundry hall, when things are to much for him. Also when new people come over he likes to be in his safe space until he is ready to meet them. We are a house full of men, my husband, 4 adult boys, a 3 year old and I am the lone woman. He is my shadow and likes to be with me, he obeys my commands better than the men and would be a great dog for a woman. He is good with my 3 yr old but sometimes gets a little rough, he gets defensive if the older boys play to rough with the little one. Why are we getting rid of a great dog? We are heart broken we have to find him a new home but we will be moving back to germany in the next 6-9months. It was an unforeseen change in our life and sadly for us all we will not be allowed to take him with us. We would love to find him a new home where he can be loved and show the love he has given us the last 2 years. We would like to find someone committed to giving him that love and we would like for there to be a few visits here with him to make sure life for him and you will be wonderful. He is truly a wonderful dog and has so much love to share with the person that has love to share with him. Thank you
