About Sawyer and Sophia

Sawyer and Sophia are bonded and we would like them to stay together they are currently being fostered together in South Carolina and their foster mom tells us the following: SAWYER: Tan fluffy guy Very sweet boy who is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He is a little shy until he gets to know and trust you. He likes to be with you, but also very independent. He likes to be pet but is not a cuddler. Never ever jumps on people. When you get home he wags his tail and his butt wiggles and if you put your face down to his he gives kisses and likes you to pet him. Loves the outdoors. He has some anxiety in the car, but is getting better. Warms up to guests. Wants to escape from the yard and explore nearby but comes when called - usually. He is good at the vet. Sawyer is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $375. We require adopters to have a securely fenced yard and not invisible fence SOPHIA: Black and white Terrier mix super affectionate; she curls up in a ball right next to you in bed every night and will sometimes rest her head on you. She follows me around, but is happy to be in the same room as me. When I am at my office chair, she climbs up behind me on the chair. She jumps super high when she is excited. She is getting better about not jumping on me when I get home. She is extremely timid with strangers, and can take a few days to warm up to house guests, but with time and patience will go to guests. She does not have a mean bone in her body, and though she is timid, even with kids she has shown zero aggression. She has no interest in leaving the house. She wants to stay inside or in the backyard where it is safe. She is very scared in public or in the car. At the vet she was scared, but let them examine her with no problems. Sophia is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $375. We require adopters to have a fully fenced yard and not invisible fence.
