Sophie is an-easy-going, sweet and well-trained and well-mannered, six-year-old, 60-pound, fawn and white Boxer-mix looking for a loving guardian. Sophie doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs, but she is full of kisses and tail wags for her human friends. She's great on leashed walks and has no reactive behavior to other dogs, but she is best as the one and only pet in your home. Sophie knows the commands sit, down, jump, paw and bow. She loves to please her humans and enjoys playing with squeaky balls and toys. While she is crate-trained, she can easily be left in the home all day while you're at work and is happy to see you for a walk or romp in the yard. And, she's not one to wake you up in the morning. She's happy to sleep on the couch, in your bed, or on a dog bed and wait patiently for you to wake up. Sophie is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee of $75 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. To meet and possibly adopt Sophie please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. She is being fostered in Chicago's Old Irving Park neighborhood.
