About Milo

I am a very sweet and affectionate dog. I am told I suffer from anxiety (don't know what that is) but I am nervous around new people. I won't hurt anyone, I just shake. I am getting so much better I just need to figure you out first. Once I do, you will see how loveable I am. You see, I had a home once but sadly on October 18th I was picked up by animal control as a stray in Pasco County. I tried to tell them I am not a stray but I guess the officer doesn't understand bark. I sat for months at the shelter and no one came for me. I would see adopters walk right by me, no one even stopped. I started to feel sad, then some loving volunteers started working with me and showed me love. I wasn't nervous around them and I was doing better. I would even go on pack walks with other dogs. Then I heard I became an urgent dog meaning I needed more than what the shelter could provide for me. I thought my life was going to end BUT...Out of the Box saved me and on February 7th I was given a second chance. I know 'sit' and I am working on other things like not pulling the leash and other stuff. I really like it here but I would love a 'furever' home. A home with patience, a lot of love and one that can re-write my future. DOB: 12/28/2012, 60 pounds, mixed breed.
