OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi, My name is Sudsy and I am a fun loving sweet pup! I was very sick and tiny when a super nice lady found me at a car wash and brought me to K-9 Angels. I am fighter, but I needed K-9's help to get me strong and better. A few weeks later and I have a new lease on life! My sister was adopted last weekend and I am hoping to find my forever home soon too. My foster mom says I am really smart! I know how to sit for my treats and I am doing really well on potty training. I love to play with toys...all the toys! I am teething so I love a good rope toy or Kong to chew on! I sleep all night in my crate and have not been having any accidents. I love other dogs, cats and kids. I need a big yard because I have a lot of puppy energy to burn off after my long night of sleep. I would make a great addition to any active family or young adults! I wouldn't mind a fur sibling too! Note from Sudsy's foster: We have been fostering Sudsy for 2 weeks and she is the sweetest dog. She enjoys playing with other dogs and toys! She sleeps all night. She is ready to find a loving home! Get your applications in and visit me this weekend at the adoption center. Sudsy is a female Lab/Boxer Mix and is estimated to be born around 5/31/2018. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
