About Boomer

Adoption Fee: $200
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier / Welsh Springer Spaniel
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Boomer is a wonderful family dog. He is a Wirehaired Terrier mix who weighs 34 pounds. He looks bigger because he has long legs, but he has a sleek build under that long hair. We were told he is 6 years old, but he seems a bit younger to us. Boomer came to us as an owner surrendered dog from a young family who realized they had taken on too much. He has been loved and well cared for which shows in his manners. As a terrier, Boomer is very smart and he can learn very quickly. He has sit down pat. He will sit no matter what else is going on around him. He loves to play fetch which is a good way to help him run off some of his energy. He needs a fenced yard to get out and do zoomies when the urge strikes him. He gets along well with other dogs and seems to like dogs that are smaller than him. He has been around cats and seems to do well with them as well. Boomer would love daily walks for the exercise and to get out and experience the world. He meets new people very nicely and is good with children. He would be a wonderful family dog for a family that likes a lot of outdoor activities. Boomer is housetrained and has good indoor manners. He is past the chewing stage and does not bother anything when left alone. He likes to sleep near his people. He is super sweet and likes hugs and kisses. He has a lot of love to give, too. Boomer is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you would like more information about Boomer please contact [email protected] or call 319-310-3120.
