A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet. Nori Corgi/Pomeranian mix 8lbs female 19 months old. Yet again another horrific story in Korea, the very sweet Nori was kept in a extremely small crate with no human interaction or with with other dogs for a couple of months before she was dropped off at a high kill shelter & about to lose her lovely little life until the wonderful Korean rescue we work with got her out & 3 other little loves & asked could we help all 4. All 4 were fostered together in the same foster home also. The adorable Nori was brought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & her life will truly begin. Nori was taken to our wonderful vets where she was spayed by laser, chipped, up to date on her shots, & she is heart worm negative. Nori is currently being fostered in a loving foster home with other small dogs & she really enjoys the company of small dogs, big dogs seem to frighten her & she seems intimidated by them so she would do best in a home with small to medium dogs. She also likes to play, play & more play & she thinks she should be the queen of the castle so she would try to be the alfa in her new forever. But it is mandatory for her to go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home. Nori is also a little slow to warm up to you at first but once she does it's all over. Nori has been around cats in her foster in Korea but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children. Nari has been around very respectful teenagers. As with all of our rescues & Nori's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Nori & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Nori that meet all the requirements for this little sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Nori has an adoption fee of $685 & is ready for her forever home. **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
