About Cooper

Bethlehem, PA - Who is looking for a new family member to love forever??? Meet my friend Cooper. He is amazingly sweet, loves walks on the leash, Snuggles, is fixed and up to date on shots. He is a Lab/Hound Mix. He is about 4 years old. CALL OR TEXT JEN AT 484-375-8052 IF INTERESTED. Cooper is very submissive and scared needs people that will understand his neediness and reassurance. He has been moved around a lot. That is why we need permanent, loving home. He is a mid. size dog. Maybe about 45lbs. Vetting is done has shots UTD and Nuetered. He knows commands of sit, paw, and down. The last one he struggles with a little bit. Believe me if we wouldn't have a Saint that is quite dominant he would be staying. He gets along with everyone as long as everyone moves slowly and of course respectful of him. At first he might bark or do a low growl but that goes away quickly he just needs to know he is safe. He does pull on leash especially if he see a rabbit. I believe he needs a gentle leader and would be fine. He has jumped over a 4 and a half foot fence. He was very scared at that point. He would do best with people that are retired or definitely have a lot of time for Cooper Time. He is housebroken. He is just like a baby crying, you just have to figure out why?? He eats 2 times a day and does have healthy appetite. He doesn't jump up on furniture or beds. But I am sure he could learn if given a chance. He does have some allergies where is starts to cry and scratch a lot. We are also told it can get so bad that he will lose hair in certain places. He has been with a yorkie and a old cocker spaniel he was scared but just needed some reassurance. We tried to introduce to a Saint but due to Saint issues it did not work out. He is an attention hog. But I think that will work through after awhile. He must be a house dog and does not do well with crates. Copper loves to play fetch,tug, and just wrestle around. So much more to say but if you are interested and have the time for him to love you.
