About Ruby aka 'Pooter'

When Ruby was first rescued, she was extremely afraid of people. At the time of her rescue, it appeared that she had never had any form of human contact. She still remains quite timid and shy when meeting new people and it takes a while to gain her trust. For this reason, we feel that Ruby would do best in a home without small children and one with experienced dog owners patiently allow her to come around at her own pace. Ruby is a very special girl in need of a very special home. She also LOVES the company of other dogs. She would most likely do best in a home with another or other dogs. She seems to be more secure in the company of other dogs. For more information, please email [email protected]. HOPE for Animals' dog adoption fee is $100. This includes initial vaccinations and spay/neuter. All dogs adopted through HOPE must have a fenced yard. Other pets in the household must be spayed/neutered and a good vet reference is required.
