About ASTRO

'ASTRO' is an adorable 10-11 month old, 65-70 lb., cream & brown Pointer/Lab mix male pup we rescued from a very high kill pound. He is tall & long in build. Astro has an endearing, youthful, naive,'wide-eyed wonder of the world' aspect to his personality. Astro is a very, very sweet, smart, silly boy who is affectionate and playful, as well as eager to please. Astro thinks everyone can be his friend and he loves the company of other dogs. An older, resident dog to be his companion and teach him would also help Astro mature and grow in confidence. Astro loves to cuddle and love, and is simply a very precious boy. Astro is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
