Let me help you learn all about this prince charming... Homer came to Wigglin' Home from a high kill California shelter. We don't know much about his past. We can tell you what we have learned about this sweet senior boy over the past month. Homer is a gentleman in every sense of the word. He gets along with all dogs he has met. He is currently living with four Boxers and he fits in like they have always been together. Homer loves to go to the coffee shop. He greets everyone with his wiggle, and he never jumps up. As soon as introductions are over, Homer is more than happy to curl up on the rug and wait to see if there will be more people to meet. He is completely house trained and waits patiently for his treats. He does drool and can make some mighty big bubbles when his favorite treat is offered. He walks well on a leash most of the time. There are the occasions when he thinks there is a wonderful scent he must explore immediately and will pull, but he corrects easily. Homer loves to go for car rides and take long afternoon naps. He loves belly rubs and being close to his humans. He is a perfect fella to watch TV with or read a book. He will rest his head on your lap and you can almost see him smile! The only thing keeping Homer from getting the 'perfect' score is he just doesn't do kitties. Nope, he's happier to go to a home without a cat. He does great with older respectful children. He seems to love all humans but warms up to men faster than women, but honestly, we are only talking minutes. He is crate trained and will go to his crate for naps. Homer has earned the privilege of being 'free' in the house when we are at work. He is never destructive. We usually come home to find him taking a nap. This Sweet Senior boy would make such a great addition to a family looking for a low key, well-mannered gentleman to love forever.
