Our rescue is sharing this information about yet another dog in need. Sadly so many people are having to surrender their dogs in the middle of the summer, the worst time possible for any dog. Can you foster or adopt this wonderful dog (on the right)? This is the message I received from a caring friend of the owner: Jiggy is a gentle lab/pit bull mix dog. He loves to be scratched on his head and given a lot of attention. He's a sweet 6-year-young dog with a quiet disposition and yet enjoys the outdoors when he runs around in the backyard with the other dogs. He was rescued as a pup so she has had most of his life and he is a fantastic dog. He gets along with other dogs well--as there have been 5 dogs altogether in her household--2 of them disabled. Jiggy has always been the gentleman in letting the others go first or looking out for them. One of the disabled dogs was born without a cerebelum and Jiggy always watched out for him. He has a wonderful temperament and disposition. He also loves kids. She is moving into a mobil home park by August 7th and is allowed only 2 small dogs which are her Boston terrier/Chihuahua mix ones so she cannot bring Jiggy with. She had to sell her house beause her husband died 2 years ago and financially it was too hard for her. Please let me know if you have room in your heart and home for this dog so he does not go to the pound. Call 480.229.9530 or email [email protected]
