About Athena

Athena came to us from a shelter in Santa Maria, California she is 9 months old and had been brutally attacked by two adult Rottweilers. They bit her all over her back & chest and left deep puncture wounds. The breeder decided to dump her at the county pound instead of taking her to his vet to get her medical care. The shelter reached out to us to see if we would be interested in helping her, and of course, we were without hesitation. Athena arrived from her long road trip late at night and was scared to death of everybody. She did make friends with a 1-year-old male puppy that we had here though. We quickly decided that Athena would definitely benefit from spending time with one of our favorite trainers, who has a lot of experience in bringing scared dogs out of their shell and giving them the confidence that they need to live a happy healthy life. So we drove Athena up to Dynamic Dog Training AZ in Prescott, Az where she will spend the next 3 weeks, at least, not only becoming emotionally stable but also learning all her obedience commands and how to walk & play off leash. Her training and training for you & your family (about a 2-3 hour class) are included in her adoption fee. The only thing extra that you will be responsible for will be the purchase of an e-collar which is $180.00.
