About Wiggles

*MUST LIVE IN 50-MILE RADIUS OF ITASCA (A SUBURB OF CHICAGO) WITHIN THE ILLINOIS BORDER TO ADOPT, NO EXCEPTIONS!* The wonderful thing about Wiggles, is that Wiggles are wonderful dogs! They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! But the most wonderful thing about Wiggles is I'm the only one! I'm Wiggles, and if you are looking for a fun-loving, playful, and affectionate pup to call your new bestie, it is your lucky day because I am available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation! I am a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind pittie mix; I weigh in at about 30 pounds so I am the perfect size for lots of sweet snuggles, and my unique caramel-colored brindle coat makes me look a bit Tiger-striped, don't you think? But I think my best features are my adorable smooshy face with my floppy ears and hazel eyes filled with love and my silly wiggle butt! If you haven't figured it out from my name, I am constantly wagging my tail because I am always so happy! My foster mommy from Fetching Tails Foundation met me at Chicago Animal Care & Control, where I was surrendered by my previous owner during the CRISP program because they didn't have time for me. Luckily my foster mommy couldn't resist my fun, sweet personality and promised to keep me safe until I find my forever home. I am having a total blast in her house: I have doggie friends to play with and I love to romp and run with them in the backyard. I love other dogs, so I would do well with a playful canine companion, and I think it would be so fun to have a fenced yard at my forever home where we could enjoy games like fetch (I love chasing balls and am starting to figure out to bring it back so my humans will throw it again!) I also enjoy playing with toys and do a cute little grunt when I am having fun with them. But I think my favorite thing in the whole wide world is attention from my favorite humans! I love to curl up with my people for some quality pets and cuddles. I am so happy to roll around in my foster parents' laps and reward them with lots of sweet kisses for their kindness and attention. I am not a vain girl, but I must brag about my house manners for a moment. Foster mommy tells me all the time that I am a very well-mannered little lady, and I must say I definitely agree! I am crate trained and do fine in mine overnight and while my foster parents are at work during the day. I am still working hard on my potty training (my previous owners kept me outside a lot so I am still mastering telling my humans when I need to go outside to take care of business) but I am a people-pleaser and pretty fast learner, so with continued guidance, practice, and consistency I will be at 100 percent in no time. I don't chew on household items or otherwise make a mess, so once I am fully potty trained foster mommy says I would probably be fine to leave out on my favorite doggie bed during the day. Did I mention yet how much I love my doggie bed? I am so happy to curl up on it when I am tired and need a little rest, and make my foster parents giggle at my sweet pittie snores. I also know a couple commands like sit, and love to learn even more. Since I am still a pretty young girl, Fetching Tails will require my adopter to sign me up for training classes, and I think that sounds like it could be SO much fun! I am a smarty pants and a people pleaser, so I am very excited to see how much more I can learn with you by my side! What are you waiting for? Don't I sound like a dream girl?
