About Ruckus

Ruckus is fostered in Miramar, FL (Broward County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Ruckus is a handsome, loving border collie mix, about 2 years old and 52 lbs currently (he may fill out some more). He is fostered in a home with kids and adores them. He is fine with other dogs and overall coexists very happily with them. Squeaky toys can be a point of contention, however. Ruckus is active and busy, but has a nice way about him. He shows promise for dog sports, but would also do well in an active non-performance home. He will fetch and return disc rollers, is wild about the ball, and loves water. He is very interested in chickens. Cats are a no for this dude. Ruckus is a fast learner and an incredibly endearing boy. He will need some fine-tuning of his leash skills and commands, though he knows how to sit, wait and is making progress on other commands and skills. He is a cuddly, loyal boy who gives kisses and will stand nicely while being groomed. He requires a home with a fenced yard. Ruckus is neutered, housebroken, crate trained and up-to-date on vaccines and preventives. He is heartworm negative and microchipped as well.
