About Fidget

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Adoption Fee: $25 DOB: 3/17/2008 Breed: Abyssinian Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped Fidget is a dream cat despite her recent past. This pretty girl has had a loving owner all of her life when recently her owner passed away. Sadly for Fidget the family member that was supposed to take care of her instead closed the door to the apartment where Fidget and her cat brother Smokey were living and walked away; leaving them to fend for themselves. Luckily the landlord went to check on the supposedly empty apartment 10 days later and found Fidget and Smokey; he called a different relative who got in touch with us. Other than being in dire need of some attention both cats came through their ordeal fine. Sweet, social, happy is how we would describe Fidget; she is one of those cats who loves everyone and will great you and your guests with a gentle nudge of her head asking to be pet. Fidget does like to talk to you sometimes and has the cutest little trill that will touch your heart. While we have not had her around kids we think as long as they are old enough to know to treat her gentle she would do great with them; again she is a social butterfly. Fidget has lived her entire life with another cat and would likely be fine living with another. In her foster home she has done a bit of hissing at the other 2 resident cats but that is all; she will need a slow introduction so everyone can used to each other. To our knowledge Fidget has never lived with a dog so we don't know how she will do but with slow careful intros and a dog that will leave her alone she will likely do fine. Fidget is pretty overweight; enough so that it is hard to see the pretty long structure that is the Abyssinian but she is doing well on her diet and needs a family that will continue this. Other than that Fidget is a healthy girl; she should be fed a higher quality food and not free fed in order to maintain her health. And don't worry there is nothing wrong with her eyes, they just happen to be different colors.
