About Amara

Meet the beauty named Amara! Amara is a 1.5 y/o scruffy terrier mix who weighs 45 lbs. Though scruffy hair, Amara has soft fur which matches her gentle personality. Amara appears to be fully house and crate trained. She is good with other dogs, kids, and has shown no prey drive to small animals. Amara is happiest right with her people, though she does settle in her crate. She walks well on a leash, and enjoys a good romp with the resident dogs. Amara is spayed, current with vaccines, heartworm negative, and fostered in Harrisburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
