Hi, my name is ROMEO. I am a neutered male, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weight about 80 lbs. I was found by a caring stranger and the shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jun 03, 2018. I'm a large, handsome boy looking for love in all the doggie places. I love people, but kinda selective about other doggies. I'd probably do best as the only dog in the home. I love going for walks or hikes, but I do need some training on how to walk without dragging you down the trail. I love booty rubs, and I will 'sit' when asked (if you've got a treat for me). I take treats gently, though. My favorite toy is a ball, and I love the kiddie pool - I might like swimming, too - just don't know yet. People get a little scared when I first burst out of the kennel because of my size, but I settle down pretty quickly afterward. I just need a strong (or patient) hand. Dogs my size and color get passed up for those littler foo-foo dogs, but I'd be loving and loyal to you for the rest of my life if you'd just give me a chance.
