AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION- BANNON Hi! My name is Bannon and I'm a medium energy level, 7 year old standard Aussie who weighs 60 lbs (but I need to lose about 10) and I'm looking for my perfect forever home. Let me tell you a little about myself - first of all, I LOVE people! If I could be around people all day every day, I would be in heaven. I'm essentially 60 lbs. of wiggle butt love and kisses. I'm a snuggler and love getting quality time curled up on the couch, but I do have good manners and won't get up on furniture until you tell me it's ok to. Don't let my age fool you, I'm only middle-aged - I'm still an active boy! I LOVE playing fetch, going on long walks, and I have to have my favorite toys with me too, especially my fish! Oh, and did I mention I LOVE water! I'll chase the hose or lounge in a pool all day! I also love to load up and go for a ride in the car - I'm game on any trip- let's go! Sometimes though, if I see other dogs around when I'm out on leash, I get a little anxious and bark at them. My foster mom gives me a stern reminder that's not ok and I will stop barking and pass on by , but may need some extra practice with this. I am past my puppy years so learned a long time ago not to go potty in the house (they say I'm house trained). I will also go into my crate on command, but I don't ever need to be crated. I am a perfect gentleman in the house and never bother anything when left alone. I also know how to use a doggie door! I know several basic commands and a few tricks as well! I love learning new things and try my very best to do anything you want from me. You'll never meet a more loyal dog who loves to please! **I do sometimes enjoy playdates with other dogs my size and bigger with proper introductions, but I am not so good about sharing my own home with another dog, so I need an adopter where I get my people and things all to myself. No cats either please! Oh and I do get along well with kids visiting and am very sweet, but may get anxious with young children living in my home all the time! I'm being fostered in the Waco area and am available for adoption in Texas only at this time. I would not be happy living in an apartment, so I'm looking for a home with a good sized yard and a loving family who wants to be active with me!
