Coco is a 1 1/2 year old chihuahua mix who is looking for a very special home. Coco is a very shy boy when first meeting new people. He takes time to come around and likes to come to you on his own terms. Once warmed up Coco is sweet, but still hesitant of affection for a while. Coco is great with other dogs and would do well in a home with another dog who can show him to trust his people. Coco has separation anxiety from his people once he trusts them, so he will need a family who will give him time to trust, but won't have to leave him alone for long periods of time. Coco likes women, and is extra fearful of men at first, but will slowly come around. Coco needs a home with no children under the age of 18 due to a previous bite incident. Coco was laying on the ground with a dog treat next to him, and when someone tried to take the treat they were bitten. Coco is food and treat protected, so he needs to be watched carefully around his food. Coco is house broken, kennel trained, and dog door trained. Coco is good walking on a leash and rides well in the car, so he will gladly join you on your adventures instead of having to wait at home. Coco is an escape artist who will dart out a door given the chance, so he needs to be carefully watched. Coco is a smart boy who knows sit, stay and shake. Coco weighs 14 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. He comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit as well. His adoption fee is $200. You can meet him at our location Tues-Sun 11am to 6pm at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021.
