About Lisa

Lisa is a very beautiful soul, who was rescued from Mexico as a puppy and after 5 yrs her owner can no longer keep her. She is being held at a home until a forever home can be found for her. She is currently in danger of being euthanized, if she cannot find that special person to be her forever friend, providing her her forever home. She is a beautiful dog that doesn't deserve to be euthanized just because her owner could no longer keep her. She is very well behaved, knows her obedience commands (sit, shake, down), loves walks and is so full of love. She is house trained and will let you know when she needs to be let out to go potty. Her limitations that have prevented her from finding a loving home are: She is food aggressive, would do better in a home without children or other dogs unless it is a male dog. And she is very scared at first when coming to a new home. With each day at a new home, she comes more out of her shell and is such a beautiful soul to witness as her personality begins to be seen. My husband and I tired to take her in but we have a female dog that she tried to dominate and she seemed to have issues with men. We tried so hard to keep her and are very heartbroken that we were not her perfect fit. We know there is someone out there who would be great for her, so if you think you are that someone, please call so we can give her the chance that she so very much deserves. Her homeless status was no fault of hers, please give her a chance.
