About Simba - Special Needs

Hi, I am Simba! I am a 7-year old handsome Rottie. I had a rough go back in May; I was attacked by two large dogs and they ripped my ears off. My owners brought me in and wanted to put me down but the vet talked them into surrendering me, so here I am, almost completely healed from the injuries and looking for my special forever family! There are few things that make me special: I do not like cats and would probably be happiest in a mature, quieter home with no small kids. My ears have now been covered in hairs and I do fine being handled and with putting a collar/leash on. I play well with dogs of all sizes. I follow my foster mom around and she says that I am very sweet. I like to play and I have learned some household manners (I was an outside dog in my previous life). My foster mom says that I like to be petted. I will give you all of my love and loyalty, and I will make you laugh until the end. All I ask in return is a little care and a lot of love. Simba is part of our STRAIGHT HOME program. We are a small rescue and we don't have enough foster homes to save everyone. If you would like to rescue this animal, you will need to adopt and pay the adoption fee before it arrives. You will need to pick up the animal the day it arrives in CO.
