About Mary and Timmy

Summer is here and this bonded pair is still looking for an adopter to take both! They are fast approaching their 1 year Anniversary in Rescue. 2 years in a city shelter and 1 year in rescue with little interest! Two JRT mixes! Please everyone SHARE & NETWORK - our foster will take another when these 2 are adopted and that opens the door to save another life or two that is at RISK in a shelter. They have a wonderful foster family but they need a home to call their own. Space is extremely limited. We are small. We are one of the few that invest in the long timers in the city shelter systems. We take the medical cases and dogs in need of training and rehabilitation. Timmy and Mary spent over two years at the Yonkers Animal Shelter They have been fully trained by our good friends at Allied Dog Training. Mary (Black and white) is 6-7 years old and Timmy is 4-5. Timmy warms up faster than Mary who takes about five minutes. Although little in size they both have personality plus. They need a leader to ensure they live with rules, structure and boundaries. An adult only home would be best with low traffic and no other dogs. Cats would be ok. They love to run and play in the yard. Timmy and Mary are fixed, UTD on shots, housebroken and crate trained. They are located in Southern Dutchess County NY and an adopter must be willing to come meet them and participate in handling lessons with our trainer 2-3 times.
