About Harvey

Meet Harvey! Harvey is a pint-sized, 33 lbs. sweetheart with floppy ears and handsome brown eyes. At first glance, Harvey is a shy guy who would prefer to watch from the sidelines rather than get in on the action. At the shelter he was very scared, but allowed everyone to carry him around and handle him like a very good boy. However, since he has been with his foster family, Harvey has opened up and found his confidence! He is crate and house trained, but loves to spend time outdoors in a space he feels safe, like his backyard. Harvey thrives with other dogs, and having brothers and sisters at his foster home has really helped him relax and feel like a dog again. Harvey has a quirky personality, and is a bit goofy and clumsy (he may fall off the couch when he rolls over to get tummy rubs). He loves to snuggle his stuffed toys, and you won't see him go anywhere without them (especially to cuddle for bedtime). He can be a little insecure about if he is welcome or not, so he needs lots of reassurance that he is loved and included. Harvey needs a home with other dogs, a secure yard, and a loving family to give him all the love, tummy rubs, and stuffed animals he needs.
