About Kara PENDING ADOPTION

Adoption Fee: $375
Border Collie / Lab
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Kara is like your best friend from 1st grade who you still love to spend time with. She can be silly, feisty & playful which is perfect for fun adventures. But she can also be compassionate & empathetic, providing emotional support. Kara is the best listener. She wants to make the people in her life happy. Are you looking for a new friend? Kara is about 5 months old and currently weighs about 30 lbs. She loves everyone she meets. Kara is living in a foster home in VT with two adult dogs and they all enjoy playing together. She is not a fan of cats so she will do best in a home without them. She is super smart and will thrive with an adopter who enjoys spending time interacting with their dog. Search & Rescue, Agility training or learning to be a Disc Dog (802DiscDogs) would be a lot of fun for her & keep her mind working. Kara's energy level is a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. If there is another dog in the home who enjoys playing, she is more like a 6. Once she has an opportunity to exercise, she enjoys down time and really likes to cuddle. Kara is housebroken and crate trained. Eager to please and treat motivated. She is has beautiful markings, and the most adorable white fur on the tip of her tail. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in Kara's genetic background. Our best guess is Border Collie mix. Highlights: - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Sweet, gentle, playful - Super smart - Up-to-date on vaccines - Housebroken - Crate trained - Likes to spend time with people - Happy, friendly, affectionate - Likes to cuddle - Microchips will be provided with paid lifetime registration - Has not been spayed* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, Kara has not been spayed due to her young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
