About Jag

Jag is 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds. He is a pretty calm guy who is good with other dogs. We aren't exactly sure what mix of breeds Jag is. We believe there could be some Beagle and Terrier in him. What we do know is that he is a really nice boy who is happy and affectionate. Jag is good with other dogs and pretty calm for a 2 year old. He is also perfectly happy entertaining himself with a toy. Jag doesn't jump up on people and greets new people nicely. He is house and kennel trained. Jag's big brown eyes and soft ears make for an adorable combination. Jag is not a fan of cats, he views them as things to be chased. He requires a fenced yard to run and play safely. This poor guy sat in a shelter in Southern Iowa for 5 months before he came to us and got into our foster home. At the shelter Jag looked depressed and defeated. After an hour at his foster home he was actually smiling. His ears were perked up and he carried his tail proudly. Jag was happy to have people to love again and will happily follow his person anywhere. Jag is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
